A 14 year old mentally disturbed girl has fallen pregnant after being defiled by a 19 year old man identified as Isaac Mumba of Sumbu village in manse district of Luapula Province.

The victim has narrated to Phoenix News in Mansa that Mumba had sex with her on several occasions until she fell pregnant.

She lamented that the suspect had sex with her on several occasions without paying her anything.

Meanwhile, the victim`s mother has disclosed that the pregnancy is 3 months, 2 weeks old and that the suspect is currently in police custody.

In a related development, the Ndola Child Protection Committee has withdrawn two female street kids who were being sexually abused from the streets.

Committee Chairman, Pastor Charles Mwaambo has told Phoenix News in Ndola today that the two girls have since been put in safety institutions and are undergoing counseling.
