Ruling Patriotic Front Secretary General, Davies Mwila has demanded the immediate resignation of Northern Province Chairperson, Lazarus Chungu.

This follows the loss of Ilambo Ward in Lupososhi Constituency in Luwingu.

Chungu is the area Member of Parliament and Provincial Minister.

In a terse statement issued by PF Media Director, Sunday Chanda which read;

“I have spoken to Northern Province PF Chairman Chungu Bwalya to make a decision within the next 24hrs or a decision will be made by Secretariat” PF Secretary General Hon Davies Mwila.
