THE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has extended working hours by two hours during this festive season to facilitate payment of road tax. Head of public relations Fredrick Mubanga said in a statement yesterday that during the festive period, RTSA stations countrywide will be open to the public from 08:00 hours to 19:00 hours.

The offices will also be open during lunchtime as well as on Saturdays from 08:00 hours to 13:00 hours. This is effective today. Mr Mubanga said in Lusaka, Lumumba, Premium House, Ridgeway and Cosmopolitan Mall are the centres where working hours have been extended.

He said on the Copperbelt, Ndola Main, Kitwe Main, Copperhill Mall, Luanshya, Chingola and Mufulira are the service centres where working hours have been extended. Mr Mubanga urged motorists, fleet owners and members of the public to utilise the extended period to pay road tax and other statutory obligations relating to road transport
