Lusaka Province Minister, Bowman Lusambo says government will engage senior Chieftainess Nkomeshya Mukamambo the second, of the soli people over the commotion caused by political cadres at this year’s Chakwela Makumbi traditional ceremony in Chongwe.

Addressing the media in Lusaka this morning, Mr. Lusambo said the concerns raised by the Chieftainess will be addressed amicably to maintain the good relations the party in power has with the traditional leader.

Mr. Lusambo is however disappointed with the channel of communication used by the Chieftainess to air her grievances and the accusations levelled against the PF government of working against her.

he notes that various political parties were invited to attend the traditional ceremony, therefore it is unfortunate that only PF cadres were singled out as perpetrators of the disruption.

Senior Chieftainess Nkomesha ii of the soli has sent the Patriotic Front party a bill for destruction of four tents and hijacking of food meant for guests at the 2019 chakwela makumbi traditional ceremony in Chongwe by suspected PF cadres.
