Three UPND MPs Defy Party Order To Walk Out On Bill 10

53 United Party for National Development Members Of parliament and three independents have walked out of proceedings of the constitution amendment Bill number 10 of 2019.

However three MPs for the UPND remained in the house.

This was when the bill came for second reading.

National Democratic Congress MP Joseph Chishala, four from the opposition MMD and one FDD member and eleven independents remained in the house.

For the Bill to proceed to the third reading it will require a two thirds majority of the law makers which is 111 members.

Parliament has 166 members.
