Government names high risk COVID-19 places in Lusaka

THE GOVERNMENT has revealed five locations in Lusaka as “key areas to focus on and interrupt the spread of COVID-19.”

Health minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya named Chaisa, Emasdale, Ibex Hill, Eureka and Jack Compound as the areas.

During a government tele-video meeting, Dr Chilufya also revealed that some permanent secretaries and High Government officials have been put on self-quarantined

He also said said the latest coronavirus patient is a 65-year-old man who travelled to Pakistan recently.

Zambia now has 36 cases of COVID-19.
