NAKONDE border remains closed following another spike in confirmed Covid-19 cases.
Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya has reminded the public that Zambia’s public health is affected by the situation on bordering countries, such as Tanzania that has recorded high numbers of infections.
Lusaka has not had any new cases, but in the past 24 hours 174 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded.
66 truck drivers have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and are being flagged as high risk persons.
Breakdown of 174 new cases
– Muchinga 126 cases
– Copperbelt 29 in Ndola, Kitwe, Chingola and Masaiti
– North Western: 5 new case Solwezi 4, Kalumbila 1
– Central: Kapiri 4 and Kabwe 11
