I have always supported UPND and its ideologies but at the moment, the party has no direction but just tilting votes in Rupiah Banda’s favour. Thats the kind of selfishness that Hakainde and is advisers are encouraging. These people do not deserve anything greater than mare MP….as long as this selfish ego remain in them, UPND will forever be in the opposition.

    • Lundazi Dweller Reply

      September 21, 2011 at 4:31 pm

Why do you think its UPND and not PF that is selfish. When you have a pact you must have common ground. PF did not want to discuss how they would share power and deliver to the Zambian people once in power but just wanted UPND’s support to help it have an easy access to State House. You must realise that Sata would not have been obliged to make HH his deputy. The constitution does not provide for that.

    President Sata,
I’m appealing to you. There are scores of us who love Zambia and have a contribution to make. We can transfer vital knowledge to the inexperienced youths. We even have some savings abroad that can set up small-scale businesses in Zambia and create employment. Please Sir, when you come to office, kindly relax the laws so that we can come in to our beloved Zambia on a residence permit. You see the economic meltdown in Europe, some of us are convinced that it is countries like Zambia which will survive, and weather the storm.

If indeed there are riots in Kitwe, let us ask our brothers not to spoil the dignified and somewhat peaceful elections we have had so far.

To ECZ and anyone involved in ratifying the votes and the results we say to you, as KK said last week and did in 1991, let the will of the people prevail.

Ask for God’s blessing for unity even when there are bad people around and that includes MMD.
