UPND Declares Readiness For FRESH ELECTIONS If SATA Dissolves Parliament Anytime

OPPOSITION United Party For National Development (UPND) has challenged Republican President Michael Sata to dissolve Parliament and call for fresh elections saying it is very much ready for fresh elections.
UPND Vice President Richard Kapita was speaking and disclosed this at a press briefing Friday morning 10/28 on which one MMD member by the name of Moonga defected to join the UPND.
This follows President SATA’s threat of dissolving Parliament if the opposition parties in parliament continue frustrating his efforts of governing the country.
The President threatened to dissolve the National Assembly in accordance with Article 88 if the Opposition continues to act unreasonable by frustrating his efforts to govern the country.
Article 88(5) c the president can dissolve the National Assembly at any time.
Speaking at a swearing-in-ceremony at State House on Thursday, Mr. Sata expressed concern that the Opposition threw out names of possible members of the Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC) proposed by his Minister of Finance, Alexander Chikwanda.
Mr. Sata explained that the list only had one member from the PF party but Parliament through the opposition members of parliament proceeded to reject the names.

Tongas have declared they are ready to lose again should HEMCS dissolve parliament.
Under five is so sure of the Bantustan vote and cares less what happens to MMD should their be a bye election as they stand to lose in all aspects while Under 5 will definitely keep their tribal brainless vote

In all the elections UPND has been saying that. “We are ready for election.” And they have been losing. I think when UPND says its ready for electins they mean even getting ready to lose more seats.

opposition let me tell the fact.
1.MMD mps did not win the 20sept,2011 eletion genuinely,it was mud with corruption and vote buying.so in the event that the republican president dissolve NA and go for parliamentary by election, MMD will lose terribly.out of the 55 seats MMD will retain average of 20 seats while 25 will go to the ruling PF.
2.UPND southern bantustan seats will be retained while western and North-western seats for UPND will go to the ruling PF. out of the 28 seats UPND will retain 15 seats and 13 will go to the ruling PF. Honorable kapita go to parley to save you people not you pockets.Thereby giving PF majority in parliament.

i fail to understand why hh is so dull when it comes to reasoning with matters of life, governing a nation is such a serious issue which need a mature person not just one with alot of money.he was(hh)paid to fight sata by the corrupt mmd government but to their surprise pf won and he has no direction now but just talk even rubbish so that he can be heard as well that he is existing.no sense u are still to young in politics and we wanted to groom u but since u were a puppet to rupiah see what u have archieved.if u are truly a zambian come back to ur senses and swallow your pride work with the patriotic front and oppose where necessary
