Renald Drops Two players

Herve Renard has dropped defender Aaron Katebe and midfielder Joseph Sitali from Zambia’s 2014 World Cup Group D qualifier away to Sudan.

Sitali of Zambian champions Power Dynamos and Katebe from Zimbabwean club Hwange were both dropped on Thursday at the end of Zambia’s two week training camp in Johannesburg ahead of the African champions’ June 2 Group D clash against Sudan in Khartoum.

Katebe’s representative Gabriel Kaunda confirmed to MTN Football.com that his player was on his way back to Zambia.

And Power Dynamos has also confirmed that Sitali too had been dropped.

Katebe and Sitali flew back to Zambia at lunchtime from Johannesburg to Ndola.

Renard has travelled with 24 players to Khartoum.

Zambia are expected back home on Sunday at lunchtime in Ndola where they will camp in readiness to host The Black Stars of Ghana on June 9 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Kalusha and harve renald you are very an fair how can you pick chamanga, danny, chintu who were sitting on the bench during your friendly matches in south africa and you decide to drop sitali who even contributed a goal during the friendlies.to honest this is acceptable, anywhere we know you very much by now your own players who does not perform well but there names are on the list.this is why Given did not make a trip to south africa its not that is got a problem I saw him traning with tp mazembe yesterday and is part of the team playing tommorro.we will advise sitali to start behaving like given singuluma.we are now missing dario bonnet because he was not looking on the face when making a team insteady he was picking the players on merit.

I have decided not to blog on these sites like Tumfweko and Tambembwa because the journalists there can make you dull .This is on account of the way they write. For instance this article. @MP your allagations are unfounded and that shows that you must be one of those shameless beings kalu has been defeating in Zambia’s soccer governance. Tomorrow you will add more shame to your Cv of losers as we clobber bangwele ba Sudan. Viva kalu,Viva Rena , viva Chipolopolo, viva faz, Viva Zambia!!

Every coach has a game plan, sometimes automatic choices are dropped for strategic purposes. Those dropped should not be disillusioned but to work even harder. Problem with some fans is, when a player shines at club level, they tend to think they are obvious choices at national team. We have a formidable team with those picked and am sure we will carry the day in Sudan. Go Zambia! Go chipoloplo!!!!’
