We must put it on record that what transpired at the Lusaka Show grounds between the P.F Youths and the Republican President was a tragedy. It was unfortunate and such, just like every other confrontation that may arise between Political Party members and its leadership, especially when the Ordinary members and Youths feel deceived – should always be expected! For the Opposition – such as what transpired must serve as a lesson.
We have always said that beyond any shadow of doubt, unemployment is the most pressing and urgent crisis we face in Zambia today. We have said that For many of our youth, delinquency has become the order of the day resulting in early pregnancies, alcoholism, drug abuse and corrupt dealings. The problem of delinquency is a time bomb not just for current generations but is steadily being handed down to future generations. We have said that something must clearly be done or else the consequences will be grave.
Without a clear and effective plan on job creation, we cannot realistically and sustainably tackle poverty. Without a committed desire to promote the talent of our nation’s greatest resource – our people – we cannot expect to overcome the most deeply rooted problems of under-development. Without a clear and effective path towards the deliberate promotion of responsible entrepreneurial development, we are only paying lip-service to fighting corruption. The very fact that we are 10 months into a Patriotic Front administration and there is no clear plan for Job creation is as good as endorsing a continuation of the MMD regime; a continuation of the corruption of the past.
It is not the first time that we saw our nation’s Youths become confrontational towards their Party President and national leader. No it is not. At every time – throughout history, there has always been confrontations resulting from unfulfilled promises and shattered hopes. It was out of a series of confrontations that we gained our nation’s independence. It was out of a series of confrontations that we liberated ourselves from the UNIP one Party rule to a democracy. It was out of a series of confrontations that the People during the Sept 2011 ‘referendum’, opted to remove the MMD government and never to bring them back again.
It goes without mention that “anything obtained through corrupt and crooked ways, can only be sustained through corrupt and crooked ways!” The NAREP National Youth League do not blame the P.F Youths for the confrontation advanced against its Party leader – anyone will agree that it is through confrontations that the Patriotic Front is in power today!

PF is a party of failures. they rode on the premise of Job creation which they have failed. The mines they are busy commissioning where started by MMD. They have NO plan of their own. Sata was NOT the saviour of this country. God has tried him and God will cut short his reign. watch this space.

Aquino Mutale, It is not for you to say never to bring the MMD back again. This is a democracy and as you rightly said, the last elections were a referendum- a yes or no situation meaning that people can easily flip to what they discarded after seeing the pathetif performance of the PF. Never in the history of Zambian politics has a sitting president been booed so early in his presidency. And what is more, it was youths from PF. I shudder to imagine the anger from youths of the opposition parties. Everywhere you go taxi drivers have totally lost hope in PF. These are people that nine months ago chanted and celebrated PFs victory naked in certain cases. Today their economic theories are by far more meaningful than Wynter, Kambwili, Masebo, GBM and Shamenda all put together.

Bane try to understand one thing.it is not possible to create employment in a few months this govement has been in office.mind you MMD created thousands of loafers by their unreasonable privatisation in their 20 years rule which never saw a meaning investment policy.production costs are too high to sustain meaningfull investment, capital flight is rife here in zambia, high borrowing interest rates and high electricity tarrifs, plus careless atitude by zambian youths(laziness na ka beer without seeing future implications).

That being said, I for one didn’t expect miracles in 10 months BUT what I expect are clear-cut policies working towards this ‘More money in pockets’ promise, what is the plan??? Let them tell us or this situation will only get worse. Until then its CNP bane.

Just before elections, I was driving to Luapula & refused to pay a Kaponya at Mokambo border for the 3 pipo I assisted with transport. This Kaponya told me that ‘Mu PF govt tukalamipononoa bafikala. Twalafumyapo ba MMD’. Incemsed. i called him & asked him what he hoped to be when pf came to power & he said ‘tukalabomba!’ Asked what qualifications he had, he proceeded with a litany of insults. & such are the pipo who vote. Mr. Sata & pf, its a job for you to undo what you did. Or you oppositin leaders, follow these crooks & bring their feet down to earth, you will gain yourselves votes.

Mr President,
You promised to deliver heaven within 90 days. Its well past 90 days and counting! Your tongue has betrayed you. The question of respect should not arise.Remember these are the very youths you taught how to disrespect their leaders while you were in the comfort zone of opposition ranks (e.g you cheered them on when they pelted Mwanawasa with cabbages)! Now it’s pay back time; the hens have come home to roost. Your sad days are indeed nigh and many. You aint seen nothing yet, you authored it.

A spade is a spade PERIOD!If you promise to do something by particular time you had better do or else nikafwafwa, and should you fail for reasons best known to yourself Sir,its just honourable that you come out openly and apologise for not delivering on your promises and probably ask for much more time to organise yourself.Jesus told his disciples that I will die and then rise again after 3days and he did even though it was painful.HE made 90 day promises and surely can you blame His OWN Cadres for telling Him that He has no delivered the promises.

I pity those who believed the lies from professional fools (PF). One thing people should not forget is that pf was ready to promise anything in order to get to state house. At least, I for one, knew they were lying that is why I did not give them my vote. Remember,a serpent will remain a serpent no matter what. Let us forget about job creation as long us pf is in power. At least MMD did its best during their rule. Look at Lumwana and Kansanshi.

1. Create districts = More jobs needed all the way to cassual workers & taking leadership closer to voter.
2. reduce on tax = Higher take home pay with posibility of regeneration for the intelligent.
3. Re-introduce ZNS = giving chance to a G12 failure to learn some trade other than streets & caderlism.
4. Creating youth fund (budget 2013) = empowering enterprising youth.
These meaningless steps made by CNP may prove strategic by 2015. Some od these clever opposition leaders know this & are afraid thus they keep stuck at 90 days. Days are moving, watch your CNP! He may jusp pull another one off your noses. Namyebakofye….
