Kaingu Suspended From Parliament For 2 Weeks
MMD Mwandi MP, Michael Kaingu, has been suspended for two weeks from Parliament business following his tearing of the speech delivered by President Michael Sata when he officially opened Parliament last week.
Sources have told the Watchdog that the Standing Orders Committee of Parliamentary procedures and privileges suspended Dr. Kaingu, who is also one of the MMD vice-presidents.
Dr. Kaingu last week tore apart President Sata’s speech on the floor of the House and was immediately ejected from parliament.
But yesterday, he defended his actions saying he was protecting the dignity of the House and the President against demeaning and trivialising national policies.

This is how irrational people end. Now, how will you add value to the house in these two weeks? Having been in Mwandi for research a few months back makes me wonder when development will reach such an area with a lot of potential when our representatives are acting with tuntrams as though at a kindergarten.

THE HONOURABLE MP SHOULD HAVE ANALYSED EACH ITEM IN THE SPEECH AND POINT TO THE HOUSE HOW IRRELEVANT THESE POINTS WERE. ESPECIALLY THAT THE PF IS TRYING TO CLEAN THE MESS THAT KAINGUS PARTY LEFT. THE MAN BEHAVED LIKE A CHILD.

A man conviced against his opinion is of the same opinion still. The best thing was to counsel him. So for Dr Kaingu he must know that in Parley somebody can dance but that somebody can only be the president. It is a sactuary for others members like him but a stage for comedy for the High priest. Dr Kaingu you are a businessman. Go to your business during this recess. Your ethics speaks for you.

The speech for the President was giving hope to this country. The president informed the house when all farmers will be paid by FRA. He told the house when the constitution will be finished and why it has delayed. The president told the house how his policy on climate change is following his attendance for RIO + 20 worskshop.

TEARING THE SPEAKERS STATEMENT COULD THEREFORE JUST BE ONE WEEK SUSPENSION AND SHREDDING THE CLERK OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLYS ORDER PAPER CAN BE ONE DAYS SUSPENSION WHILE TEARING A SUMMARY OF THE QUESTION AND ANSWERS CAN JUST BE ONE MORNING’S SUSPENSION FROM THE HOUSE!
