Definately beautiful but what about other points that are equally conjested like the great north road round about? I would have thought that removing round abouts and replacing them with electronically controlled road traffic control units would help greatly.

Are you asking us to comment on the looks or it functionality of the design? This picture lacks the detail which is important for us to analyse whether the development will result in an efficient flow of traffic. So, is there going to be another at the Great East-Addis Abbaba intersection, the great East-katimamulilo-thabo Mekhi round about?

Ba Tumfweko; why do you have to solicit for comments. You are looking for praise for your masters. When we condemn evil, it is out of principle and we will give praise when it is due. WE thank the PF government for the idea and we keep our fingers crossed with our hearts believing that it will not turn out to be one of the failed promises.

without necessarily putting up such expensive structure, all the govt must do is add one more lane to the fly over up to high court roundabout since there is enough space on the sides. chapwa!

traffic builds up going into the city centre and not when leaving it or going to kafue. look at the lanes and which direction flow is intended for the overpasses. unless we are now driving on the right side of the road lol.

Apart from the overpass bridge, that area needs serious cleaning. The place is in a mess. I get sick everytime i pass there.

Zambians please let us critize where it is necessay. This is development and we should appreciate. Scoffing at an idea which has been floated to you is very unfair. Nga Levy Mwanawasa stadium twapangile shani? Please belive in your government. Am not PF but am a proud Zambian.

The picture above is not lusaka city. That is how blinded some of are. Look at it and if you know Lusaka either by land or air (bird’s eye view) you know that you are fooled to debate on Harare instead of Lusaka.

Let’s have a detailed study on the functionality of this project before we end up with another waste of taxpayers money as it happened with the overhead bridge at Manda Hill which is just a decoration.overpasses are good but why not create additional traffic lanes where possible before we rush into the sky

This is a good project long overdue. Whether conceptualised by Levy or Banda or whoever lets support those implementing. We need more of these. They are far much better than traffic lights.
