Thanks President Sata you are in the right Direction. The problem in the police force are that the policemen on top were officers who had already retired and had served some over 35 years and were Tired i remember One of the president who apponited the Inspector General who was not aware was busy in the farm, but just head on TV he is new inspector general. Thanks to President Sata is the only President who have couragously changed the habit. So now we have seen commissioners in Provinces as part of decentralising police power from POLICE HQ to lower structures but the PF has a long journey,JERE is good example of a cop who has moved through Ranks from the rank of sub inspector when i first knew him to D/Inspector General today and has also moved accademically may Be he might be the first PHD holder in his field of his course,we need policemen of such caliber and i would love to see a situation of young policemen coming up for these posts but they should all start at lower ranks even if with degrees congrats JERE

What does RETIRED DUE TO NATIONAL INTEREST really mean? Isn’t there words or terms that can be less vague?
