Mother Names New-Born Twins Barack Obama & Mitt Romney

A 20-year-old woman found a way for Barack Obama and Mitt Romney to forever be connected. Hopefully, they will be able to get along….More Pictures when you continue

According to reports, a day after U.S. 2012 Election, Millicent Owuor, gave birth to twins in south-west Kenya on Wednesday [Nov. 7]. She named one brother Barack Obama and the other Mitt Romney, Kenya’s Standard newspaper reported.

Owuor gave birth close to the village of Kogelo where President Obama’s father was born. While she was preparing to deliver twins, the village was celebrating Obama’s re-election. According to Reuters, there were several babies born at the nearby hospital who were named after Obama. But, it appears only one has a brother named Mitt Romney.

Owuor told reporters that she had named her twins after the winning and losing presidential candidates in order to remember the day of the election.

I Agree… Why give your children slave names such as Mitt Romney in this day and age? May be Obama can pass since it is a Kenyan name but I have never seen an American white called Kenyatta or Kaunda

good and bad. Fortunate & unfortunate.
Surely how can you name your son after a looser. It means that child shall be a loser in his life endeavors as compared to the named after barack obama. That is psychologically cursing someone. GOD help us sure……

Romney may have lost the election but he is not a looser in life. He has been a successful business man and governor.
All the same it’s just plain ****** to name children in this manner. I hope those kids will change their names when they grow up. Ubututu!

Akaponda Ala mwangi paya with Laughter. Nomba Bushe nishi this Young Lady up to the time she gave Birth to them twins she never had any names in mind at all. Honestly something you have long prepared one can not just change it overnight like that. No wonder some people saying if at all she even know how to spell the same names. Anyways Reuters have really stated ati near by Village so can’t be too surprised at all.

Lady stick to your culture, names run in the family ,stop this inferiority complex please.African names have meanings ,you will never see a white getting your names. This girl is so naive she feel as if she has broken the record .Anyway time will tell maybe she will get a fat chaque from those yankees.
