Pastor Nevers Mumba’s Lies EXPOSED, Dora Siliya Decieved Party Structures

Dear Editor,

I am a member of the MMD and working at the MMD secretariat in Lusaka. I am saddened that two of my colleagues, namely Katyetye and Kafumukache have found themselves in the problems they have because we have a party President who does not understand the culture of the organization and worse still, he thinks he knows better and does not consult those who have been in the party for a long time.

It is sad that as MMD, we were misled by National Secretary Richard Kachingwe, acting on instructions from former President Rupiah Banda that all NEC and PEC should organize to vote for Nevers Mumba instead of Felix Mutati. It took people like Dora Siliya to deceive party structures that Mumba was a better leader. There was a lot of money that was used to buy votes by Nevers Mumba’s camp and the National Secretary knows this for a fact. To our own stupidity, we agreed and worked tirelessly to put Nevers Mumba in Office.

Ever since we elected Mumba as Party President, MMD has never been the same. He thinks he is bigger than everyone else and even when he issues threats to expel MMD MPs serving in Government, the party advised him against the move. He took a risk and experimented on Stephen Masumba. What have we reaped from that? We have lost a seat and MMD has come out of Mufumbwe weaker than ever before. This is the damage Mumba is causing the party. We were all shocked when he stormed State House and suffered humiliation because we thought instead of going there alone, he could have organized senior members of MMD, including some MPs to accompany him, but he went with Kadobi, Bowman, Mtonga etc- cheap and pure cadres. The party was embarrassed. When Michael Kaingu tore President Sata’s speech, Mumba was advised not to issue any statement but he went ahead and supported Kaingu. At the end of the day, Kaingu apologized and regretted his decision, where did this leave Mumba and the MMD? We looked like fools and he has continued to embarrass the party. He went ahead and announced that MMD would frustrate the 2013 National Budget, again MMD is a laughing stock because the budget debate is on course and the party is participating in deliberations. He went to jog in Mumfumbwe instead of campaigning.

I am asking the party membership and leadership to ensure that before its too late, an extra-ordinary convention must be called to stop MMD from its complete death. MMD cannot be led by Mumba and Kaingu and Mumfumbwe has just opened our eyes. Mumba cannot even stop Kaingu and Bowman from attacking the UPND because even if there are differences, these could be resolved at the level of Party Presidents with Nevers calling HH directly.

Mumba is not helping the secretariat to fundraise for party operations. He promised that he has networks in Canada and America and if we elected him, he will raise funds. This was not to be to an extent that even when he had to go to Serenje for Howard Kunda’s by-election, he took the last money in the office, saying he needed it for gas.

Lastly, we regret that we disappointed Lunte MP Felix Mutati, a man who has been with us for years and has proved loyalty to the party. He has contributed immensely to the MMD. Nevers lied to us in the party that Mutati was PF and was going around with the Post Newspaper that carried a picture of President Sata and Mutati during the late George Kunda’s funeral.

He lied that after the loss, Mutati would defect to the PF. Mutati has remained quite and playing a low profile because of Nevers Mumba’s leadership styles. Mutati is not bitter but we know that he just laughs in his heart that as a party, we did not know what we were doing. Mutati would have focused on issues and not on fighting President Sata. Mutati would have been holding government responsible on several issues. Mutati’s type of politics is what Zambia needs and would have assisted MMD to start afresh. Mutati is more respected within and outside MMD than Nevers. Nevers promised the punch for punch but to this day, the punch for punch has robbed us of one parliamentary seat. I know I speak for many in the MMD that we regret the Mumba Presidency.

We are giving Mumba one week to get our colleagues who were arrested out of trouble otherwise we will beat him up. He was busy boasting that MMD wasMready to defend itself if confronted by the PF because he knew that there were machetes, stones and catapults. The police must record a statement from Nevers as well. He knew what he was talking about. We know he is doing all this so that he gets Sata’s attention for a job and everyone jokes about it that if offered a job, he cannot refuse.

You re right on the spot author of the above article.Nevers is a twit.The biggest mistake of the century to put a man who is notunder pet coat but under G-string of the wife.What a shame to RB,dORA and Major Kachingwe.
The sooner you get him out of the presiency thebetter for you MMD.
The other ***** is the impotent polygamist Kaingu.A useless father and supporter of a porn star.What a political party!
Yes Mutati and Chituwo would have helped the party regain its lost glory if it had one.

MMD advice the lost Sheep to get back to GOD before it is too late. He was called to seve GOD not Politics just why is a failure. Mwanawasa sacked him because he knew that he was not a serius man but RB brought him coz they sheared the same size of the shoes. MMD soon will be like UNIP and the part mumba formed before he was offered a Job in MMD

Am humbled by the revelations so far, this I so it coming and I hope this failed Pastor, and Porn Director realise the wasting Zambians valuable time to think and do serious developments. Mutati and Chituwo were the better pipo for your party. For meaninful accountability we need serious opposition not this Mumba JOKE!

i received the news with dismay that nevers mumba’s presidency has been ivalidated by major kachingwe but after reading this article by dora who i love whole heartedly am satisfied with all what major kachingwe did to nevers mumba i believe it was much safer for the opposition to get rid of the man who doesnt hav any vision for the party before he could finish it completely.Dora never lose hope in MMD you can stil build your party from where N Mumba and Kaingu has left it.

mwebana ba kwalesa regardless of how frusrated one can be i suppose there should be a way of channelling your concerns than using insults if you the indiginant zambian insult your leader what will othe people say? try and be well oriented in the manner in which you guys come out, of course MMD have made thier blunder but do not use insults for sure Dr Nervas Mumba was not a member of the party you guys know very well that its just the greedness of man why he always thinks he can lead god knows eco ba late mwanawasa bamuntanfishe ukulandisha ba shimapepo

ba nevers twapapata if youre man enough with a bit just a bit of pride,and to show that when you become President you will be listerning to the people of zambia<please listern to those many of your party members who are calling on you to call for the convention inorder to go and resolve your differencies at NEC level.
