Chipolopolo supporters in SA
KALUSHA Bwalya says the Chipolopolo clash against Burkina Faso’s Stallions on Tuesday is a do or die affair.
And Burkina Faso coach, Paul Put, says his side is ready for Zambia in their last Group C encounter.
In an interview from South Africa, Kalusha, the Football Association of Zambia president, said the encounter is a must win.
He said although it would be tough, he had confidence in “our ability”.
“I feel we have gone a gear up from the first march against Ethiopia. Zambia was good in the match against Nigeria. We didn’t give away too many chances and created the better scoring opportunities,” he said.
“It’s do or die, but we will be ready no doubt,” said Kalusha.
The Stallions are leading Group C with four points after thumping Ethiopia 4-0 on Friday night. Zambia and Nigeria are at two points each from their two games.
Speaking in an interview, Put said the victory over Ethiopia gave his side confidence to face Zambia in their group game on Tuesday.
“We will be ready for Zambia and we are committed and united in our cause to qualify,” Put told reporters.

They will be the second after Algeria in 1992 (if I am not mistaken)if they leave the tournament at group stage. Chances are high that they might lose the game.

There is nothing like do or die its just dying, we were supposed to do it then against Ethiopia or Nigeria not this time around. The root cause is PF administration for the poor performance of Zambia National team at the AFCON. The reason why we won last year’s AFCON is because of RB’s MMD good administration policies and not because of PF.

There was a referee who failed to issue a red card to the Ghanaian goalkeeper for holding the ball outside the box, which is the same offense for which the Ethiopian goalkeeper was sent-off and slapped with a further 2-match ban. What inconsistency!!.

hr is the one who spoiled the team by introducing jacob.we already hv a winning team.last yr we won bcoz jacob was not there.he always spoils the little chances that we create.since hr is so much in love with kris lets hv him play with mbesuma but mayuka shud start warming up 5 minutes into the game

What puzzles me is seeing the sports minister on znbc tv asking us 2 support our nation team when we have always been behind , instead of him telling that kalusha b. and his followers in which he has entrusted 2 sell the new zambian jerseys on his behalf at an exorbitant price .there are alot of zambian supporters out there in s.africa and back but can not be notice because they cant manage 2 buy one so called original jersey . but its not printed by nike but by some other cheap source . only if u can table the pricing . tuli bengi
