South African president Jacob Zuma says later former president nelson Mandela will be put to rest on 15th December in his home viallge of qunu.
And Mr. Zuma has been leading the tributes to Nelson Mandela who died on Thursday night aged 95.
Mr Zuma said the outpouring of love from home and abroad was unprecedented.
He thanked people for the dignified manner in which they had responded to the death of Mr. Mandela.
He led South Africa to freedom from white minority rule and was its first black president.
