Prophecies, signs and wonders and all manner of divine intervention are the expectations of modern church goers who seek anointed pastors to fulfill such demands. The level of deceit, fraud and falsehood to bring continuous supply to these enormous demands is not just incredible but totally unbelievable. Fraudsters and criminals in operation as religious leaders.

Too bad for those who worked for many years, no benefits for those years! Starting afresh like one has just graduated and they have been posted elsewhere.

Hi there Flo. Does reinstatement not mean you continue where left off? If one is re employed yes they lose their benefits not reinstatement. Unless the minister was not quoted properly.

Richman, PF’s language is difficult to understand. They said they have been reinstated, they were told to re-apply and will be given new man numbers. Maybe the minster meant those who were wrongly fired eg those who received dismissal letters but were on leave during the strike.

When the UNIP government realized there was a dire shortage in financial management the Zambia Diploma in Accountancy (ZDA) and AAT were introduced to address the problem locally some used them as a stepping stones to acquiring internationally recognized accounting qualifications. Zambia still faces a critical shortage in health services delivery thus health personnel and the recruited numbers are just a drop in the ocean for the need outstrips what medical training schools put out of qualified high level professional staff to handle critical cases. However the clinical officers and nursing assistants training could be stepped up for first level intervention and care (out patients/clinics) to cushion nursing staff and medical doctors (in patients). Clinical officers and nursing assistants could be churned out in large numbers and encouraged to move on to higher qualification levels as skills develop to take on more responsibilities! Same could apply for primary education grades from kindergarten to four. Developing a staffing caliber by Zambians for Zambians’ service. How about that?
