Bishop John Mambo has been jailed nine months for Contempt of Court but the Supreme Court has given him an option of paying K 25,000 if he wants freedom.
Bishop Mambo who is chairperson of the Civil Society Constitutional Agenda wrote a letter to the Judiciary accusing some Supreme Court judges of being more interested in achieving their personal ambitions at the expense of justice and equality before the law.
His letter was over the Savenda Vs Stanbic matter in which the bank won an appeal.
