The Millers Association of Zambia (MAZ) has assured consumers that the allowing of mealie-meal export will not affect the pricing of the commodity on the domestic market.

MAZ President Andrew Chintala said milling companies would give priority to the local market.

Mr. Chintala advised consumers to be alert and avoid buying mealie-meal at exorbitant prices saying they can access the affordable commodity at designated deports or milling plants.
