A male student at Kasama School of Nursing drowns in a swimming pool
A male student at Kasama School of Nursing, aged 22 years has drowned in a swimming pool at Chikokola gardens.
Both Northern Province Police Commissioner, Richard Mweene and Kasama General Hospital Medical Superintendent Humphrey Chanda have confirmed the sad development to Mano News in separate interviews.
Commissioner Mweene says the incident occurred on Saturday 23rd March, 2019 around 19:00 hours.
The Police Chief has identified the deceased as Kunga Chimwele of Mansa District.
And Kasama General Hospital Medical Superintendent Humphry Chanda said the hospital received the body of Kunga Chimwele.
The body of the deceased has since been taken to Mansa for burial.
