FORMER Works and Supply minister Felix Mutati has survived a road traffic accident in Mufumbwe district in North Western Province.

The accident occured around 15:30 hours after his driver hit a deep pothole with his Toyota Hilux on the Mufumbwe-Kabompo Road in Kamazovu area in Chief Chizela’s area and veered into a stream.

Mutati is in North-Western Province to mobilize the opposition MMD and was headed to Kabompo after addressing party members in Mufumbwe earlier.

He has been rushed to the hospital along with three other passengers who were driving with him.
