The Registrar of Societies has de-registered the National Democratic Congress party (NDC).
Ministry of home Affairs Spokeperson, Nephas Chifita has disclosed.

Two factional groups led by party secretary general Mwenya Musenge and former party consultant, Chishimba Kambwili were embroiled in a party ownership contest.

The Registrar canceled the certificate with effect from 21st August 2019.
