The ZNBC Board has bid farewell to Director General Richard Mwanza as his contract will not be renewed in October.

Mr. Mwanza, a chattered engineer and business executive took over from Mr. Chibamba Kanyama in 2014, who resigned to take up a new job at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as communications advisor.

Prior to joining ZNBC, Mr. Mwanza spent six years with the Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority (ZICTA) where he rose to the position of acting director general until 2010.
