“Open Letter To The President”.

H.E President Edgar C Lungu,

Thank you for being a great Supporter of a lot of Developmental Projects and other good Facilities we are enjoying as a Great Nation today.

Sir, I am writing to you in the name of many peace-loving people from all over Zambia, who are worried about our future and that of our children owing to the fact that “Developing The Country Is A Corporate Responsibility”. Most of our youths are highly educated with sound mind and good character if given opportunities in higher office’s would perform beyond your satisfaction and expectations, The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority.

If our nation is to rebuild opportunity for future generations, it will require you has our elected leaders to realize that your responsibility lies not with a political party, but rather with the Zambian people that you have been chosen to represent. Just like you can’t cure a patient without listening to what he’s feeling, you can’t cure a nation without hearing what the people are really asking for. The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education which most of our youths are highly in the capacity.

The Equal right of all citizens to health, education, work, food, security, culture, and wellbeing – that is, the same rights we proclaimed when our fore fathers began the struggle of freedom, in addition to those which emerge from our dreams of Justice and Equality for all inhabitants of our world. We should not give up and we should not allow some of the challenges we facing as a country to defeat us. Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no Leadership, Society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.
