Government has ruled out the outbreak of cholera in Lusaka as adequate measures have been put in place to avert the danger.
Lusaka province health director, Consity Mwale says efforts have been made by all stakeholders in increasing surveillance to ensure the province is alert to any outbreak of the disease.
Dr Mwale told phoenix news that the keep Lusaka green, clean and healthy campaign should be embraced in order to avoid cholera in the coming rainy season.
He was responding to the water crisis in Lusaka which some stakeholders have warned is likely to compromise the sanitation levels in a city synonymous to cholera.
