IN A bizarre occurrence, lightning has killed 49 herds of Cattle in Ndiki area of Limulunga District of the Western Province.

The incident happened around 16:00 hours on Tuesday.

Owner of the animals Malebekwa Mbulai said there were 90 animals in the Kraal when the lightning struck.

He bemoaned that almost all the animals that were struck were used for ploughing and transportation purposes.
