Japan Tobacco International-JTI- has for the second time been certified as the top employers in Zambia for 2020.

And JTI People and Culture Manager Eileen Kapakala has described the certification as an affirmation that the company puts people first.

The organization which has been certified by South Africa’s Top Employers Institute has been recognized for its dedication to providing a work environment for employees through their progressive people first human resource practices.

Addressing the media in Lusaka on Tuesday, Mrs. Kapakala says the organisations investment in people is a cornerstone of their strategy as it endeavors to create constant opportunities for the people to gain their own experience and improve their skills and careers.

Meanwhile, Jti Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager Litiya Matakala says the organization will continue with the best labour practices adding that the company is not only the best company to work for but the best to do business with.
