The Electoral Commission of Zambia has recommended Dubai-based Al Ghurair Printing Company to print the 2021 ballot papers and candidates’ posters at a cost of 6.7 Million United States Dollars which is equivalent to 84 million Kwacha at the current exchange rate.

Al Ghurair Printing Company is the company which also printed the 2016 election ballot papers.

According to the Public Tender Notice dated 8th January, 2020, objection to the awarding of this contract will be allowed before January 21, 2020.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia says detailed schedules of unsuccessful bidders and the reasons thereof is available in the procurement department for debriefs to affected bidders.
