Zambian DNA has noted that President Edgar Lungu and his Government is concerned and committed to improving the people of Western Province’s livelihood.
President Lungu’s desire to take the Multi-million dollar solar energy project, Cashew nut Development project and many others to Western Province underscores PF government’s commitment to create not only jobs for the local people, but also ensure that the Province gets a fair share of developmental projects in its quest to transform that Province’s landscape.
It’s also worth noting that Government started working on the Mongu-Limulunga Road that not only leads to the Litunga’s Limulunga Royal Village, a place where the tourist attraction Kuomboka ceremony is held annually ,but also an economic road that connects farmers to the market.
We are also aware that Western Province was allocated 64 health posts out of 650 health posts planned for construction countrywide, and 60 out of 64 have already been completed.
Further, in an effort to bring development closer to the people, the PF government has created an additional nine districts in Western Province.
In view of the forgoing, we expect the people of Western Province to give President Lungu a thunderous welcome by turning out in large numbers when he arrives in the Province as he has proved to be the first ever Republican President to accelerate the rolling out of massive infrastructure developmental projects in that Province in this short period of time he has been in office.
Moreover, we expect the people of Western Province to reciprocate the Head of State’s goodwill gesture by rallying behind his able leadership as he means well for the Province.
