Zambia has recorded 4 new cases of Covid19 in the last 24hrs from 600 tests done -Dr. Chilufya-
Minister of Health, Chitalu Chilufya has praised health personnel in the country for their unwavering and tireless efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

The 4 cases recorded today

1. 42 year old female of kafue
2. 45 year old male of Kafue
3. 31 year old female of Kafue
4. 22 male of Lusaka (Primary contact to the Chilenje Death)
Dr Chilufya said health personnel are first handlers of patients hence the need for them to be appreciated.

Addressing health workers at Chilenje Level-One hospital in Lusaka this morning, Dr Chilufya assured that government will endeavor to support nurses and doctors in the country as they are front-liners in the fight against COVID-19.

And Minister of Local Government, Charles Banda urged the health workers not to be discouraged but remain steadfast and focused if the fight against COVID-19 is to be won.

Dr Banda said nurses and doctors have a duty to discharge their work diligently in line with their calling to save people.

He later donated 200 hampers which comprised hand sanitizers, masks and soap to the health personnel at Chilenje Level-one hospital as a protective and preventive measure against COVID-19.
