Unsuccessful Gothia Cup Envoys Back Home
The Chilulu Girls’ Team, which travelled to Sweden to participate in the Gothia Cup has today returned home after an unsuccessful outing. The team participated in the Swedish youth tournament under the auspices of Breakthrough Chiparamba Academy. Chilulu girls won only one match from the three group qualifier games in the preliminary rounds. But, team Coach, Kaunda Mukonde has attributed the girls’ failure to qualify to the next round to the strong teams they played against. Meanwhile, one of the players, Dailess Sakala has said the tournament has taught her various skills and discipline.
