Denounce Violence In Public, PF Urged

Global Justice Zambia Advocacy Campaign Manager Samson Zulu has refuted allegations suggesting that he is being used by the ruling MMD to file legal suits against Patriotic Front leader Michael Sata.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm in Lusaka, Mr. Zulu says his actions against Mr. Sata are in the interest of justice.

His comments come in a wake of the PF leader%u2019s grandson Mwamba Peni’s allegations that being forced by the MMD leadership to legal action against Mr. Sata in order to derail his campaign programme.

Mr. Zulu explains that no one is above the law and that the law must take its course on those who abrogate it.

And MMD Lusaka province Task force chairperson Chiwele Maimisa has challenged the PF leadership to publicly denounce violence.

Mr. Maimisa says President Rupiah Banda has openly spoken against political violence and that his party is committed to conducting peaceful campaigns.

He has therefore maintained that the violence that recently characterized the Chongwe MMD public rally was caused by supporter of immediate past area Member of Parliament Sylvia Masebo.

Chikala chobe Zulu, we know what yours and the MMDs machinations are. To stop the train. The problem with this is that the train is in motion at a high speed. Any thing that will attempt to stop it shall do so at its own risk. Sata is moving and moving at a great speed.
