A Former Non-Ferrous China Africa (NFCA) employee Charles Kabwita has disclosed that some Zambian managers are protecting the Chinese investors abusing the local people.
According to Kabwita, a Zambian manager working for NFCA has instructed all the workers to stop holding morning prayers
before going into the plant, wearing of the Rosary and reading the Post Newspapers within the company premises.
Kabwita has disclosed that the conduct of the Manager who he has named as a Mr. Chanda should be condemned.
He says Mr. Chanda should understand that the Chinese will not be there to protect him.
But NFCA Corporate Manager Nelson Jilowa dismissed the allegations.
Mr. Jilowa says the company has a good relationship with its employees and does not stop any of them from praying or reading the papers.
An investigation carried out by tumfweko among the company’s employees and its management is that infact a Mr Chanda is among the Zambian managers that have also stood against the increment of the NFCA Zambian workers salaries.

Lets be fuctual and not petty. Before we judge this manager and Mr kabwita. 1. In the mines reading a newspaper, a bible, or n literature at the the working place be it in the office, underground,or workshop, warehouse is prohibited. Reading can only be done on lunch break. But mosts of the miners r not subjected 2 luch breaks becoz of their shifts.only those at general and coprate offices have a chance 4 such. 2. Rosery- for safety in recent years their has been a rule 2 prohibit lose hungings or cloths due 2 moving machines ,small and big, fixed plants also have moving parts, leavers which can and ve been experienced 2 be trigered accedentaly by such and even simple things like murton clothe and records of miners being killed are their at Msd. For some of us who belive in the sacred rosery it is adivseble 2 keep it in the pocket of ur PPE. It is the same as hanging it on ur neck. 3. Prayer. It is a custom in the mines espciasly 4 underground workers 2 say a prayer n get safety tips before the start of the days work But in a given time because time is critical underground. The problem is ur supevisor. Instead of telling u the truth about safety in the mines he tells u the manager has said. U ve a union 2 take such matters 2 not the media. On the issue of salary increament I cant commet. Mbulo failed u.

We should uphold our christian values everywhere we go either at work or at home. If this is true, Mr Chanda you are not helping the workers in any little way. Remember the old song, “Mweni akaya kapata mukaya” The workers you are mistreating are your own brothers you need to support. Money is nothing my brother.

I will change the name of my third born daughter Chanda to Chandi at least. It seems this name is cursing my Clan. I am not at all a tribalist but my heart bleeds hard when I see the names from Northern Province on top of the list of the pipo decampaigning their tribesman. Think about the clown Chanda Chimba, this man OMG! What does he benefit from his slunder? What did MCS do to this man? Where does he come from? Think about Mumbi former secretary general or so. Think about the paramount chief of Luapula. He goes all in his own way away from the wishes of his pipo in Luapula. Chief Kazembe is a traitor of the waste kind. Other highnessess from other regions have recognised and are sacrificing for MCS but the Mwata is so overwhelmed with all that glitters. This is a big shame. I will never ever pass through Luapula when going to Luwingu because I might meet this Mwata and just tell him how disgusting he is.
