Lifwekelo Castigates Sata For Shunning Presidential Debates As He pardons RB
The Forum for Leadership Search has charged and castigated opposition strongman Patriotic Front President Michael Satas shunning of live presidential debates televised on Muvi TV yesterday as an indication that he has no issues to address.
Organization Executive Director Edwin Lifwekelo alleges that the PF has no agenda for the Zambians charging that Mr. Sata is not intelligent enough to debate with other intellectuals.
Mr. Lifwekelo says the debates are there to help Zambians make an informed on who to vote for in the forthcoming elections hence it is not in line to shun the debates.
Presidential debates kicked off yesterday with aspiring candidates outlining their manifestos to the public.
The BBC/UNDP sponsored debates were and are being televised live on Muvi Television last night but PF president Michael Sata and Heritage party president Godfrey Miyanda were not present.
Mr. Lifwekelo has however defended President Rupiah Banda saying it is unnecessary for him to attend the presidential debates because the nation has already seen the works of his hands under his 3 year tenure.
Political Parties expected to participate in today’s debate include National restoration party (NAREP) United party for National Development (UPND) UNIP, and MMD.
Meanwhile, political analyst Dante Saunders says the presidential debates are being held at a wrong time because politicians are busy campaigning.
Mr. Saunders says the organizers should have brought the UPND, MMD and PF on the same platform because the presidential race involves the three.
He adds that it was what the public was looking forward to.

Lifwekelo is an ASS hole for the MMD. Who is he to say Banda can be excused and SATA should have been there. He is an embecile of the worst order. He Thinks Mr MCS shud halt his on slaught on account of a debate which will not bring any thing. We need to be on the ground. Those that Listen to the debate have already made up their minds. Lifwekelo is dull and lack wisdom, Mr Saunders has put it clear-politicians are busy on the grassroots..we know that people like Lifwekelo lack wisdom where cadrelism is concerned-they can not think through..by the way Lifwekelo is far from being a leader so never mind such uselessness
