Sata still in the lead with 116 constituencies declared

Patriotic Front leader Michael has maintained the lead in the presidential race with 994,090 votes representing 44.4 percent from 116 constituency results declared by the Electoral Commission of Zambia so far.

MMD’s Rupiah Banda is in second position with 808,596 votes representing 36.11 percent,UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema has 350,473 votes representing 15.65 percent, ADD’s Charles Milupi has 9,051 votes representing 0.40 percent, NAREP’s Elias Chipimo’s has 8,290 votes representing 0.37 percent.

Others are Tilyenji Kaunda with 8,264 votes representing 0.37 percent,Ng%u2019andu Magande of the NMP has 5,104 votes representing 0.23 percent,FDD’s Edith Nawakwi has 4,982 votes representing 0.22 percent ,Heritage Party’s Godfrey Miyanda has 3,538 votes representing 0.16 percent with ZED’s Fred Mtesa trauling with 1,845 votes representing 0.08 percent.

    Am sure Dickson Jere does not know how to write a speech conceeding defeat, especially conceeding to the COBRA. But this mambilima woman should not take us for granted. WE are tired and would like to reserve some emegy for tomorrow as we take the president-elect to plot one
