Police Seize Over 1000 Bicycles From Ex-Finance Minister’s Home
POLICE in Lusaka yesterday confiscated over 1000 bicycles from the home of former Minister for Finance and National Planning Situmbeko Musokotwane, in Makeni area.
Police spokesperson Ndandula Siamana said the service decided to investigate following a tip off from members of public. She said the police had to confiscate the bicycles to ascertain how they were procured and the origin of funds employed to procure the bicycles.
And Ms Siamana said Dr Musokotwane’s wife said the bicycles were for personal use.

Wow! Bo Musokotwane, amulubulelele..mwachovanga linjinga kaufela ya’ani nji? Personal use huh! hopefully its not tax payers money. If its business thats fine. Its just a cleanup proess by a new gov’t that has seen and found too many things that are not right..No heart feelings!!

I see immunity on one RB removed, NOT retribution! HH will secretly support this move in parliament this time. HH will use prosecution of RB to emerge as MMD/UPND pact leader. Most MMD MPs will also go… by way of prison sentences. PF will be even much stronger through many pending parliamentary by-elections.
