Republican President, Michael Sata has not yet shifted to state house, Tumfweko understands.
Tumfweko has understood that President Michael Sata’s attitude towards issues of his security is worrying security and intelligence government experts.
Sources close to State House stated that Mr. Sata remains at Omelo Mumba Road, in Rhodespark as government renovates State House to suit his taste and that of the First Lady, Dr. Christine Kaseba.
Omelo Mumba Road has been sectioned off with barrier booms 21 days after Mr.Sata was elected and his private home is flying Zambia’s orange and green flag to symbolise the presence of the republican president.
Mr. Sata has also reduced the police that line up the presidential route and has significantly scaled down his motorcade claiming is man of the people.
Sources also disclosed that Mr. Sata intends to visit the teaming town centre as soon as his schedule is eases up.
The security advisors are concerned that although the president is very popular especially in urban areas, his strong shift on policy matters relating to foreign policies and his anti-corruption drive brings significant risks to his presidency.
‘’China has invested billions of dollars in this country and now the President has announced that the country will shift its attention and investment to the West,” the source feared, “we can’t take risks, also the anti- corruption drive against his predecessors and the former officials remain powerful”.”
“Further we need to worry when we see the country begin to lose relations with Angola and Malawi, it concerns us,” said the source.
‘’We have no evidence that anyone or any country is planning anything untoward against the president, but our duty is to understand anything that will bring risks to the presidency and act accordingly,”the source disclosed.

Sata should take security matters seriously. He might last only for 90 days. For instance I bought those Toyota Lexus for security; they r bullet proof.

It is true the president has’nt shifted to state house yet.The president has done well to trim the police lining the roads for the head of state. As for the security staff, just do your work and adjust according to the president’s schedule and your training.

Needless to say our president needs security, sometimes the security arrangement is over exaggerated. I believe in secret security not lining fifty plus vehicles in a single line and one claims that is heavy security. Our intelligence should just do there mathematics properly and identify possible threats to the old man and work on them. I would rather the president has hundreds of invisible security personnel as opposed to the heavy presence of police, army etc. As for moving into state house, he is right because I strongly believe RBs cup of tea can not Sata’s. That place needs to be exorcised from Banda’s demons of corruption.

For he will give his own angels a command concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. Upon their hands they will carry you, that you may not strike your foot against any stone. Psalms 91: v9-12. where is Rupiah living now. dont tell me he vacated state house immediately Sata was sworn in. Banda needed to prepare where to go looking at the fact that he never expected Sata to win so there was no way he was going to leave state house immediately. as for the low security am not surprised but like someone pointed out security wings need to be alert for any threats to his life. he mighty no see it necessary to move with heavy guard but he needs it.

This story by Tumfweko doesnt sound good in my hears. Are you suggesting or you are seeing enemies to the president? Are we in bad books with Angola? The issue of Malawi to me is a dead one coz if I was made president today I would do what Sata has done. Mutarika came on inauguration day expecting Banda but open realizing it was the opposite he left secretly. So who is a friend? What is Malawi to Zambia? Its only the head of Malawi whose head is rotten the rest are our brothers and are in support with us. I think Tumfweko you are sounding like RB sympathizers now.

Thats why we urgently need a new constitution that will reduce the powers of the president. His security in for the nation and that does not need to be compromised. What renovation does he need at state house. How was Banda living there? We need the pipo driven constitution within 70 days remaining that will give us 50+1 (Zambia has never had a majority govent since 1991.0 also to reduce your powers!!!!

Unless the LORD watches, the watchman watches in vain. I don’t really see anything wrong with that. He is the President for the people, with the people, from the people and among the people. He is simply a humble man who doesn’t want to put self first but his people. Iam reminded of FTJ, he once got onto a bus from City market, with ordinary passengers on board. HEMCS is liked and I believe He is God’s chosen, and who can be more powerful than God? Unless God allows it…other Presidents who are actually enemies with so many people/nations but move freely among their people because they are in that office to defend the country and the interests of there people. We love HEMCS…LORD create a hedge around him as he moves up and down. By the way iam sure those bullet proof lexus (if that is true) would have been ideal for RB because he knew what he was upto, he wanted to STEAL our votes, so would you have expected him to move freely?

When Sata won the elections someone told me that there was a rumour that our presido said he will not shift to state house untill his 90 days promises are fulfiled. i Thought he was joking and i am starting to believe now. This man is really a gift to us and that is why God kept him alive all these years. Will wait and see.
Good Luck our presido.

Sata has nothing to fear! Only thieves (the guilty) are afraid! But u guys (Tumfweko) shouldn’t even have reported on such…your report borders on state security! You’re actually the ones who are jeopardising the safety of our head of state and inturn that of our great nation. Please try to consult on some of these issues guys, right??? Its a shame that the Barotse Royal establishment (BRE) is mute over this issue. the chokwe are one of the more than 28 tribes of barotseland. we cant afford having our own brothers beiong labeled refuges. No wonder we are breaking away from Zambia very soon. we cant belong to this tribal country anymore. Bundas, Luvales, chokwes, Kalundas, have strong ties with Angola but came into barotseland in the 1800 during the regn of Litunga Mulambwa. SATA and PF who were just born yestarday cannot determine our nationality as barotses. to hell

What sort of Presidential security do we have??? THESE GUYS NEED TO ADAPT!!!! JUST HAVING HUGE NUMBERS OF POMBOZ LINING UP STREETS is merely show of force to frighten the weak in society! SECURITY NOWADAYS IS HIGH TECH – Dependent on INTELLIGENCE, & FAST THINKING AGENTS. PHYSICAL SECURITY, is now steeped in BULLET & BOMB PROOFING to almost TANK ARMOUR Standards for mobile transport. SURPRISE IS THE ONE CHINK IN THE ARMOUR THAT GOES A LONG WAY IN ACHIEVING THE DESIRED RESULT.There is much more to presido security than just having cops running about!!
