2012 Budget To Be Ready In 2 Weeks Time – VEEP

REPUBLICAN Vice President Guy Scott says the 2012 national budget will be presented to Parliament in the next twenty-one days.
Dr. Scot says issues of job creation, government expenditure and taxation among others will be explained in detail during the presentation of the national budget by the Minister of Finance Alexander Chikwanda in the next three weeks.
The Vice President was responding to Mafinga MMD Member of Parliament Catherine Namugala who wanted to know how many jobs the Patriotic Front government intends to create in ninety days of taking office.
This was during the thirty minutes Vice President’s question time in Parliament.
And Dr. Scott says the PF government’s view at the moment is for the country to go for a referendum after the committee of experts has made recommendations on what should be in the new constitution.
He says the document will then be tabled before parliament for enactment.
Dr. Scott was responding to Solwezi East MMD Member of Parliament Richard Taima who wanted to know the road map for the adoption of the new constitution.

PF is a party of the people, for the people and by the people.Referendum is the way to go so that people can participate in the governance of our country. Show the MMD that its just their minds which were stuck because of greed.

If MMD members of parliament hard morals, would keep quiet on the issue of the road map for the new constitution. I get suprised to see Namugala and Taima who were in MMD and failed lamentably on the issue of the constitution start behaving like they are so much interested in it. Ba MMD you are failures. You failed to give the Zambian people what they wanted. If MMD was still in power, the constitution could ve died a natural death. Shame on you MMD MPs
