17 Year Old Girl Gang Raped For 6 Hours
A 17 year old girl in Chingola on the Copperbelt was in the early hours of yesterday roughly gang raped for 6 hrs. Copperbelt Police Acting Divisional Commander, Milner Muyambango says the girl was raped from 22:00 hours up to 04: 00 hours yesterday.
He says the girl who was in the company of her friend was attacked around 22:00 hours as they were coming from a funeral house to their residence.
Mr. MUYAMBANGO says the other woman managed to run to away.
He has disclosed that police have since apprehended one of the suspects identified as Douglas Chanda of the same Compound who has identified his colleagues who are at large.
In another development, robbers in Ndola have snatched over Thirty Million Kwacha from an Indian woman after attacking her at her house in Kanini area.
Mr. MUYAMBANGO says the four robbers armed with pistols stormed the house and led her to the bedroom where they demanded for cash.

This sad event that happened this girl could have been avoided,Parents lets not allow our girl child to move in the night,these children usally lie that they are going for a funeral when they have other plans,how can these Parents explain their child going for a funeral at night where were they,the have themselves to blame for what happened to their child. As we were growing up we used to do such thing were you leave clothes to change at your neighbour,so we know these things.girls mind your dress code.let us not just feel petty for this girl but were exactly was she coming from?
