‘ASSISTANT TO THE MADAM’ Battered For Being In ‘Wrong Bed’
AN INSTANT justice mob on Tuesday severely beat up a woman who was allegedly found sleeping in the matrimonial bedroom of a 30-year-old caretaker at a named church in Kitwe’s Buchi township.
Acting Copperbelt police commanding officer Milner Muyambango said in an interview in Kitwe on Tuesday the incident happened around 07:00 hours.
Mr Muyambango named the caretaker of the church. He said the incident happened when the caretaker’s wife, whose name has been withheld, found the woman sleeping in their matrimonial bed after she returned from a business trip.
The caretakers quarters are within the church grounds.
Mr Muyambango said the man’s wife allegedly found her husband with the other woman and hurled insults at them before alerting members of the community who descended on her.
“The wife is a businesswoman. She usually goes out on business trips for some days. Yesterday she arrived around 06: 00 hours from her business trip and went home straight, where she found another woman, aged 19, in her matrimonial bedroom. She was upset and started insulting the woman, calling her all sorts of names,” he said.
Mr Muyambango said the woman was severely beaten by the crowd and was only rescued by police officers who were patrolling the area in the morning.
He warned members of the public to report such cases to the police instead of taking the law into their own hands.

Beating a girlfriend is encouraging the relationship. So sivisasila manje. Leave the ATM alone, there are more women than men. Let the law legalise poligamous marriages to curb this trend of beating “innocent” girls. Even the wife has a boyfriend somewhere. Remember the song by Paul Ngozi ya certain woman and a fisherman in Kafue.

I agree with you. If anything the man needs a serious ass whooping. The young lady didnt land in that bed by accident but was taken there by the man. The wife can not be blamed for her hubby’s mis demeanor. His the head of the home n as such shud MAN up n quit whimping about n find a quick fix when ever he feels like getting it on wen the wife is away. One of the the key qualities of being a MAN and wearing the pants is self control. He has no excuses. I say Whoop his sori behind.

I hope even the men would also be getting a beating, it is so unfair that women always fall victim of such cases when the other perpetrators go unpunished. The man and woman are all at fault and must also get the same treatment!

Imwe mwe bantu aka kachikala litole sana nika care taker kapa church and the matrimonial home is at church, so kapanga double sin nakuli mulungu, am sure kachikala kalikolwa kachasu, the SOB can’t even afford to book a room at any guest house, so really to me the ka guy was at fault he probably lied to the poor girl that he was not married and he lived alone, so to me it was wrong for the (hungry)mob to beat up a woman, if i was there i was going to beat the sperms out of this dickhead!!!

Its a an unnatural weakness for a woman to victimise woman over the failures of her own man, no wonder the Zed man keeps lining up ATMs with confidence knowing that he won’t be touched. Women stand up for each other and realise that the satisfaction of belittling another woman over a man is short lived because the one person robbing you of happiness is your man himself. The way I see it, we still don’t have women proposing men so, infact ATMs are just victims of a man’s scheming.

Something fishy here with this business woman with her business trips which certainly forced this man doing what he did.To me it seems he was being starved sexually while the business woman was being serviced on her business trips.The truth shall always come out.To the young girl i feel sorry for her cause the man definately lied to her that he’s single but again girls don’t like men who say the truth.Learn to know someone well before quickly jumping into their bed.
