ZANAMA Chairman, ELVIS Nkandu Stoned As Business Comes To A Standstill In Chisokone Market
BUSINESS at Kitwe’s Chisokone Market has come to a stand still. This follows ZANAMA chairmans general Elvis Nkandu’s presence in the market.
EMBATTLED Zambia National Marketeers Association (ZANAMA) Chairman General Elvis Nkandu’s presence in Chisokone market has caused commotion as marketeers tempers have risen.
Nkandu who once attempted to flee the country to neighboring Congo DR but was intercepted by police at Kasumbalesa Border post where he was nabbed, this was after Sata had won the election.
A sarcastic Elvis Nkandu who opened the ZANAMA offices this mid-morning which were closed after MMD lost the elections refused to close and vacate the offices saying he has invested and done alot to the warefare of Chisokone Market.
This prompted Mulunda a Chisokone Patriotic Front Chairman to organize some marketeers who are also bitter,angry and furious with Elvis Nkandu’s behavior especially for his disparaging remarks he was making in run up to the elections.
Mr Mulunda insisted that ZANAMA is not supposes to run the markets as the mandate was given to the local authorities by government through the markets act.
Quick action by Police officers though they have/had a tough time quelling the situation as marketeers were throwing stones at the ZANAMA offices demanding that Nkandu leaves the market.
A Tumfweko staff on the ground says tempers are high among Marketeers who have repeatedly denounced Nkandu and his executive.
Nkandu’s shops and his vehicle have been severely stoned together with the ZANAMA offices he is in.
The situation is tense with police officers having a tough time to normalize the situation.
By press time, Central Police officers called for reinforcement in-order to whiskey away Nkandu who has locked himself in the ZANAMA offices where stones are being thrown at.

Mr Elvis Nkandu is not normal,he owned all the makerts in kitwe during MMD regime especially in the last days of MMD compaign,where he was given all the powers to kill any PF marketer in kitwe by his ex embattled president RB.Nkandu opened his mouth careless denouncing our pressident MCS ,his time has already gone,infact he is supposed to be in jail this time as he was involved in the murder case,please arrest him.

No political cadres in the markets and Nkandu has been stealing from the marketeers with his association on the pretex that he representing them.He has been breaking the law by not observing the markets and bus station Act.The law only empowers the local authority to be in charge of the same.Zambians should not allow individual to reap from the poor marketeers.Let him be prosecuted for breaking the law so that it will deter others from taking the the law so casually.

I think immigration has gone to sleep,they are not working,they have investigation wing but they do not make investigation.how can a foreigns have more say in zambia.Nkandu,kalonga kanono,these people,we are told that their congolise.but immigration has gone to sleep.see how your friend in RSA and BOTswana work,if some one came as a teacher that person can not engage in any type of business.If he/she does then deportation order will be on hi/shi

The man is not hated just for campaigning for RB, it is the way he was doing it. He himself molested a lot of people just because they were PF. He made PF supporters suffer. Some lost property and wives because of this pig. He is just testing his own medicine. Good lesson to every Zambian.

This BOY called Elvis Nkandu needs to be dealt with seriously.The boy insulted our Presido (HE-MCS) during the campaigns and i remember one time when he and RBish were addressing a rally, he referred to our Kateka as “ishilu”.He said, in apparent reference Ba Sata “…..bushe umuntu waifi kuti mwatila alikwata amano?” and the crowd responded ” awee”.
I am reliably informed that the boy is from DRC.He has abused the women at the market both sexually and financially.I therefore want to call all PF members in Kitwe to burn the bagger alive so that others can learn to respect incoming presidents and not just the incumbent.

What a shame for Nkandu & his associates..Nkandu is so arrogant and uneducated that’s why he was parading himself with MMD & RB.Days have caught up with him….he never thought of consquences of supportin politians blindly.he believes in corruption and stealing,he believed in rigging that MMD will continue.

*Those that borrowed money from CEEC should pay back so that others also can be empowered or else you face bailiffs.Dont give that money to NKAUNDU but give to CEEC directly.
*I know there are those who borrowed money from CEEC through ZANAMA and want to cause confusion so that they dont pay back.NO pay back…be very clean because nkandu will face the courts and mention your names.

-Yes local councils run the markets world over and perform well because they are supported by central goverment and the people at large..BUT zambians you are too careless and lazy..you dont pay the councils who cleans your markets and resort to dumping in the night your garbbage..CHANGE zambia shall be better with well meaning zambians.
