POLICE Intercept Dora Siliya’s CANTER Carrying Motor Bikes As She Produces CERTIFICATES
POLICE in Lusaka have intercepted a canter containing twenty-nine motor bikes belonging to Former Transport and Communication Minister, Dora Silliya.
But Ms. Siliya has disclosed that the motor bikes belong to an organization called My Home Town, which she is a member of.
Dora also displayed certificates of registration.
My Home Town begun by a Zambian James Ndambo has chapters in America, the UK, China, South Korea, Argentina, South Africa and Zambia.
In Zambia the NGO has chapters in Choma, Ndola, Lusaka and Petauke.
The NGO encourages wealth and job creation in communities to supplement government’s development efforts.

Wat was Dora doing with the bicycles? Was she the procurement officer for the said ngo? Hw convienient that the same type of bicycles were found on Maxwell Mwale? Oh am sure he was also taking them to an ngo? Or maybe dora had to produce false documents to cover up her mess! But sadly she can’t cover up the zamtel saga. She is a corrupt *****. Let her be investigated throroughly.

Sory am a visitor here but I know about Dora being a member of My Home town, this Ngo helps a lot not only bikes but even car , I ve seen it in my own eyes here in Monze where Monze Hospital was given a car, they are also a lot of schools and people who are benefiting from the same! We all get intercepted by police and if we have proof of what we are carrying we are set free. So there is noting wrong in what the police did its normal. we do not complain we just produce proof of ownership period. I recommend the police. fair play for is what we want.

The Gvt really needs to seriously investigate these bicycles. Motor bikes / vehicles corruptly brought in the country.
Former Minister of Finance in the RB”s Regime was the first to have been caught with about 1000 bicycles, what has happened to this issue? Is it selective justice or what?

NGOs does not belong to govt but assist the govt in assisting the needy. MPs by virtue of being pipo’s voices are NOT supposed to belong to any ngos since they are entitled to cdf. Apa pena ba dora kwena babepa and she is like jumping out of frying pan staright into mbaula.

She produced the certificate of organization registration, so what?. The question is what where these bikes doing with her? Where they properly purchased and brought into the country? Did they use government funds to procure the bikes? If they were meant for an NGO, where they cleared by ZRA for tax except? Again the certificate only proves that the organization is registered in Zambia nothing more. If she had proper records of the transaction she would have produced them I can guarantee. This tells me there is smoothing fish about the whole thing. And i hope there are not the same type of bikes as the ones found with Mr. Mwale and mr. Musokotwane.

People like you are kachepas that dont realize the consequences of the things that come out of your mouths. Have you been to PACRO to do a search on who the real owners of Zambezi Airlines are? Kabwela Kasongo, Zambian Airways went the same way due to allegations that it financed PF. Dora heavily threw her weight on Zambezi Airline that has no financial muscles to operate either within Zambia or outside. The govt loaned the Airline up to now that cash has not yet reimbursed. That airline was limping thru and thru and many times schedules were not followed and 6 times their planes were detained in RSA. Its time for the country to have a national airline and absorb those guys who are laid off. It pain to see kenyan airline operating locally from lusaka to ndola, lusaka to livingstone.

OF COURSE PETAUKE IS HER HOME TOWN, but whose money was used to purchase the motor bikes? What about the canter itself, is’nt it one of those that were bought with govt funds that RB used for his camapign? The following questions beg your answers $Dollar:
1. Who are the directors and funders of My Home Town (MHT)in Zambia.
2. Who does MHT bank with in Zambia and who are the signatories?
3. Where are the offices of MHT in each of those towns you’ve mentioned?
4. To which of your offices were the bikes destined?
5. “…encourages WEALTH and JOB creation…”. Which of the two are you encouraging in Zambia, and which govt efforts/programmes is MHT complementing in Zambia?

http:/www.myhometown.org.zm is a registered ogarnisation in Zambia with a Management team and a board of directors…My preliminary investigations reveal that Dora is not and has never been a patron..Surely, the Police could hve confirmed with the Chairperson of the organisation in Choma or whaterever on +260 213 220 913 / 4 – 5 before seizing the loot.

if u dont know the meaning of investigation u better keep quite. We all know about mmd distributing all sorts of good to corrupt electorates, let the police find the truth so that this issue can rest. We all want to know mmd source of funds coz the spent more than enough during campaign. Anything linking to that has to be investigated. We leav dora alone why? Did Dora make any arrangement with rtsa to issue driving licenses? One of the objections of MHT is show pipo how to fish and not giving them fish. like educating pipo on small scale business, supplying farming inputs. Normally in zambia the needy pipo don’t know how to ride motor bikes.

@twaumfwa you dont know what u r talking about,how can u bring the issue of zra tax to something that belongs to an NGO,so u mean up to this time u dont know that anything brought in the country by an NGO does not pay tax.just talk about something else & not the issue of tax coz u r just xpressing yo ignorance & i think the main issue here is for the police to investgate who bought those motorbikes.
