ARMED Bandits BREAK Into BAYPORT Financial Services As DANGEROUS Criminals ESCAPE From Police CUSTODY

Armed bandits cut the roof to Bayport Financial services in Kapiri Mposhi, blew the safe with explosives but failed to haul the 110 million kwacha stored there.

The impact of the explosives burnt and destroyed about K10 million stored in the safe.

The robbers had earlier disarmed the security alarm at the premises along the Great North.

Central Province Commissioner of Police, Solomon Jere says the thieves managed to blow the safe partially but failed to completely dismantle the safe-box.

He says no arrests have been made so far but police have launched a man hunt.

And three dangerous criminals have escaped from police custody at Kapiri Mposhi police station, cutting a metal bar to their cell.

The three include two who are jointly charged for five counts of aggravated robbery and another facing a charge of threatening violence.

He says the three escaped from police custody after cutting a metal bar to their cell door around 02:30 hours.

Where did those bandits get the material for cutting the metal bars from? The police officers at the station must answer. If anything maybe they even helped them. Financial institutions need to have CCTV cameras and also the security company must be able to respond on time to avoid such but then you know when someone gets a cut. They would sit and allow the thieves to finish their dirt job then go there afterwards.

this is what you get for poor investment in Home security. poor people are put at risk due to negligence by home security personnel. this story is annoying and irritating, i have been attacked before by criminals who got away with everything i owned then – - – govt -improve we don’t pay high taxes for nothing! nxa
