BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH Regrets 11/19 Incident, Describes STORM As DEMONIC

BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH International regrets the incident that happened on Sunday 19th November 2011 during the Dedication Service of the Blessing Centre which left one person dead.
The church says “During the special service just when Presiding Bishop Joe Imakando was about to invite the guest speaker Pastor E. A Adeboye to preach and dedicate the building, a strong storm came in from the eastern side and blew off a piece of the ceiling which hit one of the members severing his face. The Elders rushed him to hospital, unfortunately he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The demonic storm also left a trail of destruction in the neighborhood resulting in roofs rippled off, security walls brought down, loss of lives, trees falling on a car to mention but a few.”
“As Bread of Life Church we wish our deepest condolences to the entire church family in general and in particular the family of Mr. Arton Nyirenda. We also pray for the community at large and families in the Emmasdale area whose properties and homes were also damaged by the storm.”
Bishop Joe Imakando took time to thank the people for the support and solidarity they had shown.
He encouraged the church and the body of Christ to be steadfast and strong during this period.
Bishop Imakando informed the church that the leadership are in consultation and will soon give an outline on the state of affairs and way forward.
“The dedication of the Blessing Centre was a very significant occasion for the church in Zambia as it was a statement of God’s awesome presence in the country.” “The centre is a beacon of hope for many, a symbol of God’s sovereignty, a landmark in the city of Lusaka. It is no surprise that the devil would try anything to destruct or even discredit and put the church in disrepute. In all things we give glory to God,” said the church.

the bible says our GOD is a GOD of silver and gold, all these belong to him,so why shouldn’t his children be owners of these things, now can someone tell me is there anywhere in the bible were it is written that silver and gold belongs to the devil? wake-up pipo we should be partakers of our fathers properties.and remember the bible says thou shall not speak ill about the servant of GOD ,neither judge others,so be warned that in whatever u’ve said there is a repacation behind it………….be warned.

THE INSULTING COMMENTS SEEM TO POINT TO ONE THING. THE MINISTRY OF BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH IS ENVIED BY MANY.

FOR THOSE WHO WISH AND WOULD CARE TO KNOW. THE HUMMER WAS AN INITIATIVE OF SOME CHURCH MEMBERS APPRECIATING WHAT THE MAN OF GOD HAS DONE IN MANY PIPO’S LIVES. IT WAS BOUGHT THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS OUTSIDE THE TITHES AND OFFERINGS.

THE LESSON TO BE LEARNT IS THAT WE NEED TO LOOK AFTER OUR BISHOPS, REVERENDS, PASTORS WELL.

YOU WANT TO DRIVE A VERY GOOD CAR AND YOUR PASTOR IS ON BICYCLE. WHAT A SHAME!!!!

I’ve have read all your headlines. They are all negative. There are a lot of Positive things happening in Zambia. It seems you have chozen to report on the negative ones. And you’ve also chosen to report on the negative aspect of every positive thing happening. Please be objective.

Love, passion and faith is all we need. Let God be a Judge. Do not provoke the wrath of God, but pray that he opens your spiritual eyes to see in the spiritual realm

Ba tumfweko, There’s nothing educative on your site. Where’s the Sports news, Business news, Political News, Lifestyle & entertainment news. Please leave the man of God alone. Everyone collecting news for you only collects the rubbish going on around. Murders, Rape cases, Jerabo’s Killing women, Dora Siliya’s rubbish, Man dieing whilst fornicating, Iris Kaingu’s Porn Video, Ex UNZA student’s Porn Video. Woman having sex with 82 men. Nothing educative on your site. Please find people that will bring proper stories.

All these negative comments have just confirmed that indeed it takes the spirit of God for one to discern and understand spiritual matters.Until such a time that your spiritual eyes gets opened, all this will be foolishness to you and i don’t blame you for you don’t know what you are doing and i just pray that God forgives you for those careless comments.

Well said. Holy ghost fire does not exist. It only exists in the crooked mind (pastors) used as a bait for the weak minds.
These pastors and their churches are the modern day witchdoctors calling everyone to go to them for ‘deliverance’ and help them with childlessness, illness, badluck etc… If they give the church offering in form of money and expensive gifts..,

Lets face it, this is african traditional religons coming into church using the back door!

I never knew the devil had so many spokes men and women until now.God in control and we thank God for the Blessing Centre its a master piece. The devil is not happy to see a building of that magnitude to be used only for the glory of our savior Jesus Christ.i would like to warn the devil to stay away.Am sending back to sender all the negative plans to the devil kingdom. we are build another Blessing Centre in Livingstone.
to the children of God we thank you for the words of encouragement.

Am not just disappointed but also scared to where christianity is going. In business we do forecasting to ascertain the impact of internal and external forces. As the result of this, draw backs are avoided. This calls for the for entitys to be proactive. Issues of healthy and safety should be pivotal both for business and social organisations.
Am a believer but I think the way church is being run today leaves much to be desired, let’s look back sometimes and meditate, many are times when we blame the devil for our mistakes. Touch not the anointed and do my prophets no harm, you bread of life members are quoting this scripture but are 4getting that your bishop touched TB Joshua. Am a believer but on this one don’t blame the devil

Buying a hummer has nothing to do with the building. The simple fact is that the incident resulted in the loss of life which very unfortunate. Jesus said “Give to caeser what belongs to him” Most of you people making blind comments need Jesus as for your eyes to open to spiritual matters. When you read your bible properly will understand how forces of nature played a very big role in Biblical events. rains, fire, winds earthquakes have all been associated with day to day events and they had emanated from both the Kingdoms of light and darkness.

Am confused. Dont touch the annointed is misused. They use it to make us not question there decisions and actions. For example y get a Hammer when an Executive Landcuiser is good enough. If you question that they will quote scriptures and there brain washed followers will say dont touch the annointed….. The other question is how do you know the annointed? Becouse the same “anointed ones” condemn each other. Do not be brain washed pipo. think, study the Bible and you will know that if the man of God is very rich, then none of his members should be in luck or else he is not geniune

i so much agree with you my brother. Nowadays there seems to be a very thin line between a true christian and a business man. Indeed God sees what we do in secret and if he is not happy, something definitely happens. to be spiritually rich and wealthy, one doesnt need to be driving a hummer.

You see it very unlikely that when you are celebrating and you loss a life and you continue it’s not normal for African and human beings. Unless you guy don’t not worship as a family, imagine if it was your brother kill would you have had finished the service?

imwe the hammer was bought by a few members of the church..They decided the Bishop deserved it.At one point he wanted to sell it but the church said no.Leave him alone.how much is a hammer worth and the private jet was a prophecy given to the church.lESSON IF YOU DO WHAT GOD HAS CALLED TO DO FAITHFULLY HE CAN ALSO BLESS YOU WITH ONE.IF THE MEMBERS CAN BUY THE HAMMER FOR THE BISHOP IT MEANS THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED FROM HIM MORE THAN MONEY CAN BUY.JESUS ASKED HIS DISCIPLES TO UNTIE AND BRING A COT TO HIM THAT HAD NEVER BEEN RIDDEN BEFORE .IT WAS EXPENSIVE IN DOS DAYS AND EXQUIVALENT TO A CAR NOW.JESUS HAD ACCESS TO SHIPS THAT IS WHERE HE SLEPT WHEN THE STORM WAS HEAVY ..READ YOUR BIBLE AND WAKE UP

MANY OF US LIKE THE BOOK BY BEN CARSON ‘THINK BIG’ BUT HOW BIG ARE YOU THIKNING EVEN IN YOUR OWN LIFE.WHY WASN’T THE BLESSING CENTRE CRITISED WHILE ON PAPER.IT HAS BEEN A VISION OF THE CHURCH FOR A LONG.A FEW GOOD HEADS CAME TOGETHER AND REALISED IT WAS POSSIBLE FOR A MEGA STRUCTURE TO BUILT BY ZAMBIANS AND DECIDED HOW MUCH EACH CHRISTIAN WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO BUILD IT.IT WAS NOT MAGIC OR ROCKET SCIENCE ,PEOPLE ,YOUR NEIGHBOURS BUILT IT AND GOD IS BLESSING THEM.YOU CAN STILL BE PART OF IT.BUILD GOD A HOUSE EVEN AT YOUR LOCAL CHURCH.GOD HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR YOU ,IS IT A SIN TO BUILD A HOUSE,HONESTLY.LET US NOT TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED AS ONE DAY WE WILL FACE THIS SAME GOD WHOSE CHILDREN WE INSULT.LETS USE OUR HEADS WISELY NOT JUST OUR WEIRD WAY OF THOUGHT

Jesus was walking most of his life and only used the donkey once and it was not worth more than half a billion Kwacha. Moreover he is a king and people at that time were not as poor as they are now. Do not justify extravagance by people who claim to be men of God. How does he comfort the poor the way Jesus did. Is he going to ask them to ask God to give them Hummers too.

Reading most of your comments, I realise you are all commenting based on what you have read in the media! You may be right (not saying you are) in what you are saying, but all of you that have commented on this matter, how many of you actually went to the blessing center to see or inquire exactly what happened? Its a shame that you are calling unnecessary trouble on yourselves! King Saul David’s predecessor did a lot of wrong things in the sight of God but David still had respect for him! In short he left judgement to God. Most of us do not even know how the Bishop got the Hammer but we are busy posting all kind of unprintables. Which of you ever went and had chart with Joe, to tell him that he is stumbling you because of his hammer? The monday after the incidence I went to the blessing center, to tell you the truth its one of the best, beautiful worship structures in Zambia though not complete. The ceiling board that cut the man was on pile that builders left for them to continue after the use of the hall. It was not a board that was fixed to the building.

Hi Mr sch….are you sure Jesus was poor .How can it be so if He is the Son Of God.When you say the poor of then cannot be compared to the poor of now exactly what do you mean as Christ said ‘The poor you will always have.Have you read about solomon ,David etc The possessions that Bishop has cannot compare to what the men of God of old had ,as there riches was real gold and silver as expressed times without number in the bible.Read about abraham in Genesis 12 and on wards. The Man owned cities ,here you are critising one vehicle. That like a tear drop compared to what these men have.Is he supposed to wait for every one to be rich before he accepts what God blesses him wit, come on!! That vehicle was a GIFT from his church members.
