THE CHIPOLOPOLO’s India tour has started at a high after they thumped GoaXI 4-1 Saturday 11/26.
In a game which saw no goals in the first half saw Zambia dominate possession and had all the five goals scored in the second half.
In a game watched by Tumfweko, saw GoaXI score first before Nkana’s Reynord Kampamba equalized for Zambia.
Zambia continued to dominate possession and Kampamba “Sate Sate” netted his
second. Russian based midfielder Chisamba Lungu added another as does Nkana’s Evans Kangwa.
Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba came from the bench to claim a brace and lead Zambia to an emphatic 4-1 victory over the Indian Goa Select side at the Nehru Stadium today.
Before a capacity crowd, the Indians drew first blood, scoring with their first and only real chance of the match at the start of the second half after a rampant and dominant Zambia had failed to convert a myriad of chances in the first half.
Coach Herve Renard used all 19 players – making seven changes to his starting 11 as he gave every member a chance to showcase their skills and stake a claim for a place in his provisional squad for the 2012 Nations Cup finals.
The local-players dominated Zambia National Team arrived in India Wednesday 23rd November for a 7-day training mission. The tour of India will see the Zambians undertake some intensive training sessions and play two matches – today’s first against the Goa XI (which Zambia has won 4-1) at the Nehru Stadium at Fatorda on 26th November to commemorate the golden jubilee of Goa Football Association. The second game, also to be played at the Nehru Stadium, against the national team of India will be played on 29th November.
This match has been registered with FIFA and while it’s a training game on a non FIFA international date, it will count towards the Coca Cola FIFA rankings.

I think the match against the GOA 11 was an easy match for the Zambian team. I hope the Indian National Soccer team might give the Zambians a decent soccer match.

BOLA NI BOLA! BUT WHAT SHOULD BE RELEASED IS THAT WHEN IT COMES TO LOCAL FUTBOL ZAMBIA DOES’NT SEEM TO BE SERIOUS,WE NEED MORE OF THESE FRIENDLIES AND SHOULD NOT BE LEFT FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM ONLY BUT AN EXTENSION TO OTHER SPORTS AS WELL.
