WEDSON ‘Wada Wada’ Nyirenda Quits ZANACO, Returns To ZESCO UNITED

WEDSON ‘Wada Wada’ Nyirenda has quit Zanaco opting to return to 2010 champions Zesco United.
According to Bolayathu.com Nyirenda would not be available to renew his two-year contract which expires at the end of December 2011.
Nyirenda joined Zanaco after a successful spell at Zesco where he won five silverware in two seasons.
The former Kaizer Chiefs striker joined Zanaco as assistant coach to Fighton Simukonda in 2006 and became a part of the Sunset side that won the league title, Mosi Cup and Charity Shield in that year.
He branched off the following year to take the mantle at Zesco where he won the Coca Cola and Barclays Cups.
In 2008, Nyirenda defended the league and won the Barclays Cup before heading back to Zanaco in January 2009 in what looked like a swap of places with Simukonda who moved to Zesco.
Nyirenda’s stay at Zanaco was also a good success story winning the 2009 league title and guiding the team to its first ever Confederations Cup group stage after falling out of the CAF Champions League at pre-group stage.
Zanaco club secretary Jordan Maliti expressed surprise at the development when contacted by bolayathu.com.
Maliti said he had not attended to club matters as he was pre-occupied with other pressing issues related to his work.
“That is news to me. When there is confirmation, you will be advised,” he said.
Nyirenda could not comment on the development.

Thats what happens when you have an excutive that is nagging. You can not be a club chairman and Coach at the same time and also chase away all the senior Players at the club, and hope to win silverware, rubbish!. Zanaco executive should grow up, otherwise they will end up like Kabwe Warriors.
