Cape Town – South African actress Lesego Motsepe has decided to reveal that she is HIV positive on World Aids Day, reports Eye Witness News.
Motsepe has stated that the reason for her confession is to make a difference in the lives of others after she suffered rejection and resentment after those close to her became aware of her status.
“The virus lives in my blood. For 13 years I had known, and I wanted to use the opportunity God gave me to be able to be a mentor to those who will be going through the same struggles I have gone through,” she said.

Lesego, May the good Lord of all Grace bless you for what you have done, this will help someone out there who thinks having contracted HIV is a death sentence. May you continue to be an inspiration to someone out there who is facing rejection as we speak.

This is sad but a progressive step in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The pressure must be sustained, let’s preach about this, let’s live responsibly!

For the very first time on these online news papers i have read a continous string of positive comments on an issue its almost like they are not the usual zambians who use language that is not so kosher. Of course, this is save for someone called Ngoshe Pankoloko above who spoiled it all for me by writing what immediately came to his/her mind. Thank you all for making me read decent and uplifting material on your zambian online news paper.

Letti you did the most courageous thing for first accepting your status and disclosing it to the public and sisi you are strong indeed; may the Almighty grant you more positivity to live more in life and those that try to bring you down may you take it positively(Pankoloko)to move forward with life……@Loyiso hating others is too much energy using unworthly my love rather than let’s give out love to each other
