Kunda FAILS To Answer Why MMD Government ALLOWED Police To USE Live Ammunition In Mongu FRACAS
The commission of inquiry into the Mongu riots of January 14, this year on Thursday morning took former vice president George Kunda to task over what role the former government played in the riots.
The commission wanted Mr. Kunda to explain why the former government allowed the police to use live ammunition.
However, Mr. Kunda opted to submit before the Roger Chongwe commission a statement he presented to parliament on February, 25 on the Mongu riots.
The former vice president then refused to respond to other questions referring to the statement he issued in parliament.
At some point tempers rose as Mr. Kunda accused some commissioners of having taken a position on the matter.
Former home affairs minister Mkondo Lungu says the action taken in Mongu which led to the shooting of two people and over one hundred arrested was taken as a result of the reports received from the security wings.

The bottom line is that father Kunda is not just HUMANE,there is an animal element in him he needs deliverance,he really needs to be rescued,he lost direction a long time ago.

In fairness he did not fail, he ‘OPTED NOT TO ANSWER’, he stayed quite, i suppose he knows the commissioners can read for themselves in his report.

MMD officials has become CIBULUU the cant all speak why? They have become piece of moving nocence. Liato was not speaking, Dora was not speaking during interviews, today its Kunda doing the same nocence, tell us wat you all know keeping quite is not going to help.

Keeping quiet should not be used as a precedence by these politician.Why was Kunda justifying the shooting in parliament if he had no information on the police shoot-to -kill orders?

Kunda & MMD govt were totally responsible for the January 14 Mongu Massacre. Thats Why we used the ballot to to sort MMD out.

George Kunda should not be vilified anyone in his position could have done the same let us not be hypocrites Zambia is full of hypocrites people who see mistakes only in other people and not themselves. What was Bob Sichinga’s position before on wind fall tax on the mines and what is his current position as minister of commerce. We all need to be sincere and not do things for political expedience. It was neccessary that government act that way during the Barotse riots those people challenged the state. The state has to protect everyone at that moment in Mongu.

Chaps, in any society, the police can use live amo if rioters are endangering lives. We all do not really know the circumstances that led to the shooting but i do not think any officer wakes up to go to the office with the intention of killing an innocent by-stander. lets be realistic!

I somehow conquer with KC! True in riots it’s a do or die situation. Am not siding anyone here but let us allow the constitutional procedures commissioned by his excellency the president finish their task then we can air our views. It is not the magnitude of words that brings development but wise decisions; because every phase of life is a product of choice. Besides, let us learn to respect elderly people in our society, even if they error they are our parents.
